As the operating environment for business continues to change, more is expected of companies, even when fewer resources are available. As a result the bar for community involvement managers continues to rise. Community needs are great and there is an expectation to make a meaningful difference. Additionally community involvement managers must do more than align community programs with the business. They must add demonstrable value to the business.

Unfortunately you can’t do everything and you can’t be all things to all people. Choices must be made. So what choices will your company make? What will you do? Perhaps more importantly, what WON’T you do?

The Boston College Center’s course Developing a Community Involvement Strategy will help you create or refine your community involvement program to provide maximum value to the community and to the company. This highly interactive workshop will provide a proven process to move your community involvement program to a higher level of impact. You will also work with peers in applying the concepts discussed, explore best practices and developing real strategies to remove obstacles to achieving exceptional performance.

Making informed choices, doing more with less and increasing impact are critical to continued success in community involvement, now more than ever before.
