He was previously Vice President of Corporate Risk & Responsibility and Director of Assets Protection. During his tenure at Target, he has had responsibility for Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Compliance and Ethics, Global Investigations and Forensic Services, Environmental Sustainability, Global Security and Crisis Management, Law Enforcement Partnerships, and Target’s Fusion Center, which supports risk and reputation management monitoring and research across the company. Prior to joining Target in 2005, Mr. Heredia spent five years as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, Virginia and 13 years in California Law Enforcement as an officer, sergeant, and lieutenant. Tony serves on several non-profit boards, including the Metropolitan Economic Development Association, a Minnesota-based non-profit that helps entrepreneurs of color succeed; the Hamline University Board of Trustees; and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Tony graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor’s degree in Management, and from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University with a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
