Author » Alison GilletteContact: alison.gillette@gmail.com About: Alison is a soon-to-be University graduate who, with her degrees in environmental science and urban planning, has spent years thinking about the interface between business and social/environmental values before realizing that it had a name (corporate citizenship) and numerous organized bodies addressing its issues (the premier place, or so Brad Googins tells her, being the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship). While she shares the energy and idealistic spirit of her Gen-Y peers, her Midwestern cynicism (although she prefers the term “pragmatism”) tells her that upon receiving her Master’s degree this May, she’ll probably spend the rest of her days pushing papers in a windowless, basement-level office or waiting tables at a restaurant near you.
