2009 Siemens Sustainable Community Awards

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center invites you to submit your nomination for the 2009 Siemens Sustainable Community Awards. There are three major criteria for eligible projects:
- They demonstrate strategic thinking about goals and outcomes and quality of life improvements for residents,
- They contribute to “green” sustainability (reduction in the community’s environmental footprint) and
- They contribute to economic sustainability (enhancement of the competitive business environment, stakeholder involvement with the local business sector).
The nomination period closes at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on January 30, 2009.
